When I started making this sculpture, I had no idea what form the bird would take. As I worked on it, it seemed encourage me to develop it in a certain way.

Description of Artwork
Most of my sculptures for public art are fabricated welded steel with paint or powder coating. Other metals and techniques I've used include riveted aluminum, cast metals, fabricated copper, mixed materials, etc.
Some artworks are abstract, others reference the natural world.
