Description of Artwork: Over the past few years I have been dealing with several themes in my work. For the past decade or so my work has almost exclusively been cast in Iron. The material directly correlates with the themes I have been using. My work has dealt with Pigs, Pastries, Peppers and Portraits but most importantly PUNS. I feel my work is greatly influenced by the Funk movement with a little Pop component.

Description of Artwork: This babywearing family of five sculpture with three young children was inspired by my own family. When I had my third child, I wore him everywhere. I loved being able keep the baby close and still hold on to my other children. This is sculpture holds many memories of when our family was young. My original design was sculpted out of clay. The clay sculpture was enlarged, molded and cast in concrete. The sculpture was then painted with a bronze metal coating, finished with metal rubs and waxes.

Description of Artwork: My art is mostly fabricate from the raw materials to the finished sculpture. I do some cast bronze but the majority of my own is totally hands on created by me and not a foundry. My signature style is the line sculpture. The line sculpture consists of hand bent ( heated with a torch) rods that capture the frame of the subject , giving it life, muscle and action yet you can still see through it. I am not afraid to try different ways of creating the subjects I choose.

Description of Artwork: I create works from new and repurposed materials, and create sculptures for Public and Private venues. I have always enjoyed making art for fun, but now am trying to make a living at it, and having fun doing it. My ideal sculptures have simple and subtle lines. I try to keep concepts from getting overly complicated, as keeping things as simple as possible has always been my base as a fabricator.
