Nopales
I wanted to make something with my ever-growing pile of studio leftovers: pieces of steel plates, unfinished flowers, and parts of a butterfly.
Growing up in France, I had a preconceived idea about cacti: They are thorny and prickly enough to avoid. Then I discovered that people eat them and even make them taste delicious. This sculpture is my way of making something palatable based on what I had at the time.

Description of Artwork
I make visually engaging large sculptures for public spaces and outdoor settings. I use bright colors through slab glass, plexiglass, and automotive paint to contrast dark rusted steel's density.
